WARNER SPRINGS COMMUNITY CENTER

Like a covey of quail, a tight-knit community moves forward as one—alert to each other’s needs and guided by instinct to protect and thrive together. Their quiet strength and collective spirit mirror the essence of true community: connected, resilient, and always looking out for one another.

Welcome to the Warner Springs Community Center (WSCC), a nonprofit who's mission is
to enhance the lives of the greater Warner Springs community and its visitors by providing educational, social, safety, health, and human resources. We’re also committed to celebrating the cultural heritage of the native groups in our region, as well as fostering unity within our community.

Warner Springs Community Center

WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?

The Christmas “Giving Tree” program is an annual communitywide tradition that brings

love and hope to our Warner Springs back country neighbors that have found

themselves in a difficult situation during this year. They can be struggling financially or

emotionally leaving them in need of another neighbors’ compassion. This program is for

people of all ages!

DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO COULD USE A GIFT?

Nominate someone you know that could use a special gift and give us their contact so

we can ask for their wish list. Names are due by Friday, November 14, 2025. (All

recipients remain anonymous)

HOW TO PARTICIPATE!

1. 2. 3. 4. November 17 - December 8, 2025: Select an ornament from a “Giving Tree” that

lists the gender, age, and wish list of a recipient of your choice.

“Giving Trees” are

hosted at varying places around the Warner Springs community and will be listed

on the website once they are known.

November 17 - December 12, 2025: Shop for your recipient.

ONGOING EVENTS
PAST EVENTS

The Community Center has had various events in the past: Trail Fest for the hikers of the Pacific Crest Trail. Cultivate and Celebrate for our garden’s growing season. Sky Watch where we take in our fantastic dark sky. Movie Nights with a colossal inflatable movie screen. We are having for the first time The Holiday Adobe Home Tour and Christmas Market!

The Adobe Tour and Christmas Market 2025

Our First Adobe Tour and Market was a success!

There was a 60% chance or rain, but it didn't and it was a gorgeous day in the chaparral.

The Adobe homes were decked out and the Market bustled.

Santa arrived on a CALFIRE truck, thanks neighbors!

Don Bree played the guitar and sang for us. Thanks Don, you made this time special.

Santa posed for photos in the 'workshop'. Marguerite, the chair was stunning.

Our Classic Cars were the very popular locals. Many thanks.

The Garden Club harvested many fresh tea options and we had a winner for the drawing for the use of a raised bed.

Food was great. Mad Mike, our local favorite.

Our Silent Auction was desirable. Crafts were fun. 50/50 was 100%

And last, but most impressive use of a sunset, the Living Nativity. Musicians, Eva the camel and her friends. Thanks Community Church.

There was even more. Check out these photos!

The Living Nativity

Special thanks to Marguerite Apostolas, the brain child for this whole thing.

The adobe owners who shared their homes.

The volunteers, too many to list.

Hans, who kept it all fun and who weed wacked everything. Next year, goats.

To the Warner Springs Board members, especially Craig who not only put up all the displays, but was the embodiment of the sprit of Santa.

Who We Are

The Warner Springs Community Center was founded in 1998. We found our home after a Head Start program funded a grant for a mobile building, which was placed on Warner Unified School District property. This land is leased by the school from the generous previous owners of the Warner Springs Ranch.

We are deeply grateful to the Warner Unified School District, who subleases our building to us under generous terms. This allows us to direct the majority of your donations straight into programs that support our community. Furthermore, all of our Board Members and volunteers donate their time freely, helping your contributions go even further.

The Warner Springs Community Resource Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Corporate ID: 38-3692255), and your donations are tax-deductible.

We thank our wonderful community for your continued support over the years. We're proud to help make Warner Springs a better place to live.
